There are multiple types of child safety seats that vary according to the age, weight and height of the child, so Saudi Traffic lists the types of child seats according to their age group:
Rear-facing seat
Suitable for ages from birth to two years, supports a weight of 10 kg or less and fits up to 80 cm.
Forward-facing seat
Suitable for ages 2 to 4 years, holds 20 kilos or less, and height up to 109 cm.
Assistant seat
For ages 4 to 8 years, it can support a weight of 35 kilograms or less, and a height of up to 137 cm.
seat belt
It is suitable for those aged 8 to 12 years, and can handle more than 35 kilograms. As for the length, it is suitable for those with a height of 137 cm.
